About us

Operation Savannah, Inc. was formed to provide support for all persons battling (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or (TBI) Traumatic Brain Injury; brought about by emotional trauma, including; military service; unexpected death; sexual molestation; and physical brain injury. Every day family units break down when one of the early symptoms of PTSD; alcohol use disorder; binge eating disorder; hypersexual disorder; IED (anger) disorder; mental health disorder; are acted out.

Joyce and Alexander Bischoff, President of Operation Savannah, met at the First Baptist Church of TRE, on the Sunday after Easter, in April 2016. Alex was filling in for the regular pastor, preaching an Easter message of eternal life in the death and resurrection of Jesus. With tears of joy, Alex and Joyce discovered that they shared the loss of a child to cancer, a common hope in Christ, and determined to visualize their hope in Jesus, with all who could see or hear their message.

All monies received from the sale of art by Operation Savannah, including Learning to Paint of Porcelain, photo images of “Fine Art” and photo images of “The Life of Jesus”, by Joyce Pike (OPAM) are used to offer hope to parents who have lost a child to cancer, and recovery services to those struggling with PTSD.

Matthew 11:28 ESV Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
